Magnetic Storms Pro is built on the principle of data minimization. The app does not require user accounts, registration, or cloud synchronization. We prioritize your privacy and minimize data collection.

2. Information Access and Usage

To provide accurate space weather and air quality data, the app requires specific technical access:

2.1 Location Data (Local Processing Only)

If granted permission, the app accesses your device's approximate location to calculate your geomagnetic latitude and provide localized air quality data.

2.2 No Personal Identification

We do not collect:

• Names, email addresses, or phone numbers
• Device identifiers (IMEI/Android ID)
• Usage statistics or behavioral data
• Crash reports with personal information

3. Third-Party Data Sources & Internet Connection

The app requires an internet connection to fetch real-time scientific data.

3.1 How it works:

When the app requests data from our public sources (NOAA, NASA, OpenWeatherMap, OpenStreetMap), your device sends a standard technical request. These providers may see your IP address as part of this standard protocol, which is necessary to deliver the data.

3.2 Our Guarantee:

We do not provide these services with any personal metadata or identifiers. We only fetch the data required for the app's functionality.

4. Data Storage

4.1 Local Preferences

All app settings, customized thresholds, and notification preferences are stored locally on your device.

4.2 No Cloud Access

Since we do not use accounts, your data is never synced to a cloud server. If you delete the app, all local data is permanently removed from your device.

5. Advertising and Data

5.1 Advertising

5.2 Consent Management

On first launch, the app may request your consent for data processing to personalize ads (GDPR/CCPA compliance). You may opt out of personalized advertising.

5.3 No Additional Tracking

Apart from the advertising platform, we do not use Google Analytics, Firebase, or any additional tracking tools.

• You can manage or revoke Location permissions at any time via your device's System Settings
• You can erase all local app settings by clearing the app cache or uninstalling the application
